C an we become a collaborator with the natural world rather than one of its most dangerous antagonists? This question seems to be one that is being asked more and more frequently, not just amongst ourselves but with world leaders. In the last 3 decades, the issue of global warming and ecology has come up. In fact, it is now at a place of ranking to the level of that of our economy, unemployment, and COVID protocols. As the article pointed out, the images of stipe mining and the aftermath of human ingenuity and technology have recarved the surface of this planet we call home. Knowing that this is our only place of survival, it is no wonder that our "need" for more technology could not be used to find more eco-friendly methods of gathering these required resources to better our lives.
